I doubt it. I feel bad for the people making just over minimum wage. I was working for a grocery store making like 30 cents over minimum wage. I was there for like 2 years. Minimum wage went up and new hires were making 5 cents less per hour then I was. Put a sour taste in my mouth.

Where I work now I get a yearly cost of living raise, but even my current job has a cap out on how much you can make.

I hear that! At one job I started in 1982, I was making $750.00 a month. When I left that job after 19 years, I was making $16.50 an hour. New hires were making almost $14.00 an hour when I left.

In '73 I was just out of high school and had a '69 Hemi Super Bee. I sold it and bought a VW bug when I heard gas was going up to 50 cents a gallon. "Fifty cents a gallon!? I'm not payin' that!"

They had a public service deal on the radio today.
Government sponsored . Explained how you could save 2000 or more dollars a year in gas just by riding your bike to work.
Sorry they did not mean the Harley or even the Honda it was the that one hanging up in the garage.

You're my age then. A friend of mine had a '70 Hemi Super Bee 4sp and parked it in his barn when it needed a rebuild. I asked him what he was going to do with it. He told me nothing, it'll be worth a lot someday.

No it was my car so 87. I'd imagine premium round here is 4.10 or 4.20.
