So I bought this helmet, it's called a Bell Drifter series combat green. Well because I thought it looked cool. Good reason right?...lol I mean it's DOT approved and all, so no issue there. But now that I have it I keep wondering what an the hell kind of riding jacket I should get with it. Leather, some other fabric, maybe a old green field jacket from the military surplus? I keep thinking leather might look funny with it. Any Ideas? I mean of course I have to look cool riding down the road well being safe as well. Anyone out there use alternatives to leather and feel they are still safe?
My first thought was brown leather
The textile jackets are nice but for protection you really need the armor inserts which in my opinion suck, on my belstaff I only use the elbow pads. With the right venting they can be a very versatile jacket for all conditions.

Cool helmet. I like a textile jacket rather than leather. Cool in summer, warm in winter and waterproof. I have a Poker run Drifter 2. Here's a link to see it.
