RE: Scottish Rite (Masonic) benefit ride in Dallas?
Yes! I got another email from the marketing manager at Strokers...looks like we got a ride in the makes. I would love if any of the guys in the D/FW area could make it out! Here is the latest email I got this morning. I'm F'n stoked! (I posted this in a Sportster Forum that I frequent as well, and since there seemed to be an interest here, I thought I'd pass on the news)
"Hi Ryan,
I just talked to a man who works with the Association of Building Contractors (ABC) here in DFW and they are starting to plan their annual ride to benefit the TSRHC. The ride is on May 19th and Strokers is going to be involved as a stop. This year they are planning 2 rides, one leaving from Fort Worth and one leaving from Dallas, with both meeting for the after party in Cedar Springs. I don’t have any other details about it yet, but I wanted to give you a heads up because I know you are talking with other people interested in helping the hospital. He is supposed to come meet with me next week to give me some promotional materials and more information, so as soon as I have that, I will be sure to pass it along to you. Last year they raised $18,000 and their goal this year is $22,000. Hopefully this is the kind of ride you are looking for!
I will send you more info as soon as I get it. Thanks again!

they have been rather small ever since the guy that owned Irving cycle center passed away
you can still see the remince of his old shop on Pioneer by the feista store I think it is Macarthur
just down the street from Angelos
back in the early to mid 90's he had a striving shop there then he got heart problems and closed
havent heard much about Scottish rite rides since in that area
