Never in all my 40 years of riding have I wanted to be one of them. I ride because I love to ride not to going some cukture club which it seems riding a harley davidson has become.

that's true, not everyone wants to be a Billy Badass.....some of us just want to be ourselves.

I want to be just like Jax from Sons of Anarchy...... He is **Dreamy** Lol.
But seriously, ive been reading a whole lot of this "real biker" vs. Poser thing.... Im not sure i get it.
At 35 years old, I learned to ride a motorcycle after 20 years of building/restoring/hotrodding and racing cars.... I bought a POS goldwing, restored it, and turned it into a BAMF...... And then I bought my dream bike Ive wanted since I was a kid.
I wear all my protective gear.... And i even tracked down some cool vintage/antique HD patches to put on my jacket. I dig the nostalgia, the history, and the whole "vintage" thing.
Ive got 3 separate 1000 mile road trips this summer.... That dont include sturgis or daytona. Unlike many..... I can also fix/rebuild my bike
Im probably still a poser though..... And thats ok. All the people ive met cruising around on my pos goldwing.... Harley and metric riders alike, have been nothing but cool to me. They must be posers too . Thats cool as well..... We posers have to stick together
