Default Best hotels in Laughlin

Riding out there in March with two friends. Which hotels / casinos have secure parking for bikes and which are the funnest to stay at? It's two friends who I served in Iraq with back in 2007 and 2009 so we plan on partying hard once we get out there.

Harrah's is the only decent one there IMO. They have a parking structure, but not sure if anybody has any real secure parking. Like I have told others, don't expect Vegas. As a matter of fact Vegas is a relatively short ride from there if you really want to party.

I dont know how old you are , but unless you absolutely need or want to go to Laughlin, I would stay away from there. It kinda blows. You'd be better off riding to Vegas, spending a few more dollars and have a way better time. Food is better, women are better looking, clubs etc etc. Laughlin is fun if you got a boat or water toys. If you go during the River Run in April you might have fun...

Regarding parking Harrahs, Golden Nugget are good choices.

Thanks a lot...been to Vegas and never to Laughlin, I actually thought Laughlin might be fun on the river but looks like it's worth the extra 90 miles to Vegas.

laughlin is not much as far as lodging or entertainment goes. used to go out there to play in golf tournaments. there are no high rollers or hot women in laughlin-vegas is the place to go.

The Tropicana Express is a good place. It's about half way down the strip. It used to be a Holiday Inn I think. They have the best steak house in the city right in the hotel. It has a railroad theme which is a little different.

last year we stayed at the Aquarius. It was ok, not great. Laughlin as a destination isn't great either...sort of a poor mans Vegas...lots of senior citizens...REALLY SENIOR. No really exceptional restaurants or bars. But, we used it simply as base camp for a couple days to ride further south to areas like Lake Havasu, which was nice and Oatman is a hoot to see. for that purpose laughlin served us well.

If you decide to go LV via Laughlin or Az, be sure to go to the Hoover Dam and through Lake Mead Nat'l Recreation area. Nice ride. Valley of Fire is nice too.
