Default Throttle Boss question.

Who runs a throttle boss on their grips? I'm getting ready to buy some Kuryakin ISO grips and not sure if i want to include one with my purchase. Like it? Hate it? Whats the scoop?

I orginally had the clip on throttle boss on my stock grips. Since the grips were short I felt it got in the way. And not in a good way.

On the ISO grips with the throttle boss, and it is further out on the grip than the clip on models, and have not had a problem of it getting in the way. I love it as I don't have cruise.

If you don't like it, with the ISO grips you can just take it off. Sell it here if you don't want it.

Have used one for several years now, and love it. I have cruise control also (103 Limited Ultra), but I still use it all the time. Get the one with velcro straps. It'll hold the grips much better. Once you adjust it & put it where you want it, that's where it'll stay.

Had the Throttle Boss on my Shadow 1100 and loved it. The Fatboy is getting new grips soon and they will be ISO with Throttle Boss. Like Pumba11 said, you can always take it off.

I've had mine for a year and a half and love it. Less fatigue on long trips, and better control around town.

I have had the Throttle Boss on my Heritage since day one. Really helps on longer rides. Have never had a problem with it getting in the way when not taking advantage of it. Nice grips...I think they look pretty good too...

Don't buy the rigid one. Get the rubber Kury accessory one--it absorbs vibration, doesn't freeze your hand in cold weather, and is a comfortable place to rest your throttle hand.

I had a throttle rocker on my original grips, and it worked great. when i put the ISO grips on, it came with the boss( got them from a member here).. its fully adjustable and if adjusted right, you don't even notice it.
