Fu(k Hugh King!
Fu(k Hugh King!
I like the shows, he gets a lot of very talented people making really nice bikes.
Even if they can and do ride them for long distances. I would consider the vast majority to be more like rolling or functional works of art. Not to mention they are way too expensive for my pedestrian taste.
They are built more for riding to a weekend show, rather than be practical every day bikes.
But I like how you get to see different idea's on what is possible, and HOW they do it.
Ya never know when one of the builder's might do something that you thought would be nice for your bike.
But you just didn't know how to go about doing it yourself.

Unimpressive website. Free stuff doesn't work. Maybe the software is written for Internet Explorer, which is nasty, and which I won't use.

Doesn't anyone take offense to him calling himself "Chopper King"? He does TV on Choppers. Isn't that huge disrespect to the true icons of the industry (Indian Larry, Arlen Ness, etc)?

Besides last year, or the year before they had a show where 10 of them got together to make one bike.
Just getting ten of those characters to work together on one bike was fairly impressive if you ask me.
When they were finished, they all signed it and gave it to him.

That's why I say Fu(k him, I like watching the shows, but I'm ready for the chopper thing to die off. Hugh King is a TV producer who made the right move at the right time who's last name happens to be king. The guy is a poser, I'd like to rip that stupid little pony tail off the back of his wrinkly head.

He's the guy who stands up at the end of the biker buildoff and says "and the winner is". I believe the chin and hair have changed recently to make him look more like the title he's given himself. I guess your original post answers my question for you at least...
