I recently just switched to synthetic oil instead of that other stuff that HD puts in the bike, supposed to be better for the bike but im not a wrench so I dont know, anyone else do the switch or you guys not worried about it

 

I went to synthetic from regular dino my last oil change. Bike seems to run a bit cooler.

Well, this topic is quite frequently brought up, and quite frequently discussed. Hell, there's even an oil subforum.

If you want intelligent feedback, instead of waiting for it, just use the search function, and you'll find PLENTY!

 

gonna switch to full amsoil in my 98 wideglide, already made the switch in my 06 ram, and 07 300, aint goin back.

 

I changed mine yesterday, mobil 1 15/50 engine, rotella 15/40 primary, mobil 1 75/90 trans, and chrome harley oem oil filter.

 

I've got all SYN3 stuff waiting in my garage for me to get motivated enough to change all three holes. But, darn it's cold out there today.

 

Good for you that you are concerned about oil...don't worry about what they say, and don't even listen to me! Do the research, though.
