Anyone had a chance to check out this new Shoei helmet?

Yep, its PRICEY!!! Was just getting ready to pop for the Multitech at $499 and then they came out with this new one. Also considering the Shuberth C3 but its at $800

I like the Multitec, in fact I have two - one with my Harley headset in and another with my instructor set-up.

I feel no compulsion at present to buy another helmet

I like Shoei helmets, but the shape just doesn't fit my melon. (Arai are my most comfortable full face.) It will be interesting to see how much this model cannibalizes from the Multitec sales numbers.

I saw them at the show in NY, in a word, NICE! It's lighter than the Multitec and has a built in retractable sun visor. I wish I needed a helmet.

This helmet is on my radar too, my favorite helmet (Arai Quantum) has aged out so I am looking. On my trips I really liked the idea of flip up helmet to get a drink when I gas up or stop to look and take in the sights. One thing I like about the Arai is it is easy to make pockets for the earpieces in the headsets.
