My bike is a lot more personal to me than just a possession. I have invested (not for monetary gain like stocks) lots of money, time, love, blood, sweat, and tears on my bike. No one is going to ride my bike except for me and my indy when he has to to determine a problem that I cannot diagnose, which ain't many problems. MY Dad has been the exception, but he is my Dad and my closest friend. We have been riding together for 30 years, and though he has ridden it in the past, those exchanges are over due to his age and health.

I have heard that you can ride my bike if I can ride your old lady..... Well, none of my friends have old ladies I would trade for, lol! And after I ride her, he can still get on after me. Might not be the same for him, but there is no guarantee that my bike will be able to be ridden again.

If someone is deciding on whether or not to spend $20,000 on a Harley, surely they can go for a test ride or even spend a few $ to rent a bike. If a dude ain't willing to spend the time to go for a test ride for free at the dealer, he ain't going to buy any bike! Sounds like he is blowing a lot of smoke up your *** so he can later on rag you about a Harley and claim that his ricer is superior.

Test ride, rent ride, or shut up!
