Bike Ride
Yes Friends and Family
Every now and then someone will ask to check out bars or pegs or something and ill let them sit on my bike or take it for a try. To demo something. Many times i have asked the same in the past when i was looking for something.

Yes I have. I have encourage my adult son to ride my FB.
And there have been cases where my ex bother in law used one of my rides and I his.
We were getting ready to leave on a week ride in a small group, one of the riders bike quit we had no time to repair it.
Brother in law handed the keys to one of his to the man and his wife and said lets ride. I would have done the same.
Not saying I would just hand one over to anyone but there are times.
It is a machine not like you lending out a family member.

My daughters ride mine, heck I even rented a bike for me and let my oldest ride mine to Sturgis 4 or 5 years ago. That was hard riding a bone stock rental and watching your bike ride beside you, but it was worth it as they share their own super-low now.

When i first learned to ride "talking fresh out of MSF" my future father inlaw threw me the keys to his 1500 and let me go. It wasnt until years later that i realized he put a lot of trust and faith in me and i probably didnt deserve that much. So my answer is no unless it is family or trusted friends that i have ridden with for years. Also, i would likely ride with them on their scoot if they were friends. Everyone else can pony up the $100 to rent a bike. If they cant afford to rent they cant afford an HD

I did yesterday. My brother's Deuce is in for engine upgrades, so is my Wide Glide.
He was going nuts not being able to ride so I had him ride my Limited while I rode my wife's TriGlide, we even switched those out for a while.
We rode together, but I would have let him take the bike even if I wasn't going along.

Sure, for a friend I'll let them borrow it. It's a great bike and I love it, but it's still just a bike. I guess I don't equate a bike with my girlfriend although I admit the trade of "rides" sounds pretty funny. Just my opinion.
