Word up here in N FL is that Adamec bought them out, is closing that location and moving it... Just what the word is up here, nothing 'official'

I just hope they run it better than the Orange Park stealership, that place sucks. Some good folks at their Baymeadows location though, so it kinda looks like a crapshoot.

 

Well, whatever is going on, good or bad, old Bruce is probably rollling over in his grave. He loved that place and was a icon there.

 

Maybe they're just trying to sell off stock. Furniture stores do it all the time. " Going out of business sale ". Doesn't mean they're going out of business. It's a sales gimmick.

 

That's alot of stuff for sale. Hard to believe they're just "cleaning house", but you never know.

 

Dang.....not enough time to get there and bid. I'll bet there will be some damn good values.

Ok found out some more of the story here

The business has been for sale for two years, apparently just after Bruce passed

The info I heard was that Penske made two offers so far, that would be that famous Penske that owns the race teams and the fleet of rentals

Another race owner put in an offer, but not more than Penske and the deal has not been reached yet

Maybe the sale/auction is prep for them finally making the sale

Not all of the rossmeyer family is in the biz, Shelly and Will are active but I think the others do their own thing

But someone is going to buy it
