Default Is Toronto HD closing?

Got a message from a buddy stating they are. I've Googled it and can find nothing, but going to their website there are no used bikes listed and the opening page shows 50% off everything in the store

I would say yes, they are shutting down, Ottawa had two dealers, last year, now they have one.

No clue. I live in Toronto, but I buy all my parts in US, from HD dealers or
JP. The present location of Toronto HD is very strange, they are away, in my opinion,
from any customers. Who would like to ride to their location? Not me.
But I dont' think they are closing, there is no other dealerships around, only
Jacox, Davies and some in far away Oshawa. Total lack of respect for customers.

Really. I would assume, being in the largest city in the country, that they would be immune due to more volume. I guess not. That's too bad.

Sad if it's true, wish I lived closer to take advantage of some bargains.

The dealership here is brutal like that. They figure because they are the only dealer in 300 miles that they can make the rules. If I ever do need anything I call yorkton.
I gotta ask the poster above. How are you getting Harley parts from the states to Canada. Dealers aren't allowed to ship them. We have to pay the Deeley tax. Every time I have tried to order any genuine new part the supplier informed me that they can't ship to Canada. I wanted to go big bore,so I found 2 dealers, because I wanted to stay with genuine Harley stuff and was informed they couldn't ship it to me. That's why I decided on an S&S 106.

We have 4 Harleys in the family. Last 2 we bought in the States, last year 2004 Dyna,
8 th miles, $ 6.500 in Fla. We go to Florida few times a year and buy what we need,
tires, parts etc. If repairs are needed we do it there, of course at the indy shop in
Flagler Beach, not at HD dealer in Daytona, they are not that good . That`s why I
never need to go to Toronto dealer.
