Replaced Speedo
I just replaced the stock speedometer in my GF's Deluxe with one of the new digital speedo/tach combo units.
Does the old stock speedo have any value to anyone? Since the new one had to be "married" to the ECM for milage, etc., can the old one ever be reinstalled? Should I just toss it in the junk pile?

I see them on ebay all the time. Don't really know what they're worth but follow a couple of the listings and see what they sell for. Whatever you might get will offset the cost of the new unit.

Sure if you want to buy an out of state bike that has less than 7000 miles and your speedo has more. Hypothetically speaking of coarse! Or some *** hat has a **** ton of miles and wants a low mileage speedo.

LOL! Looked on eBay and found about 8 pages of used speedometers. I guess I just thought nobody would buy a used speedometer since milage would not show accurately for the bike.......but then again, maybe THAT'S the idea. Guess I will just stockpile it with the rest of the takeoffs I have accumulated.
