Nothing wrong with a sport power plant and for naked stripped combat bobber those rock , Sporty is hell of a base for that kinda ride . With somebody that can ride one most bigger bikes are outclassed fast .

what's the weight difference? is that why they are faster? i had a bad experience with a piglet power plant so i'm biased.

I'm not a big fan of the sporty but I respect the hell outa them and they have huge potential for too much fun without a big dollar out lay like bigger bikes . You get much more bang for the buck on piglets and they can turn into nasty *** razorback fast .

Whole drivetrain is lighter so it turn the RPM's on faster . Crap load of math and explanations I'll not go into , but lets just say a stock sport is beast waiting to happen . Rider who does go there better have some skills because the bike will work you .

my 1000 sporty that i used to have had the motor built 3 times all under warranty. the front jug kept scoring and the bottom end fell apart twice. it was fast as hell but i weighed about 75 lbs less back then too

I agree, riding a homebuilt. It should be built in your home.

Actually that front wheel is one of the most expensive/coveted parts on it.
