It has to be the early baggers,so many of the people I know who ever rode Harleys always speak of how they got started. Some say they came from Harley riding parents, grandparents,or knew of people that rode. For me it was friends of my Dad,who rode Harleys back in the early 50's.Always heard people speaking of the Harley 74 the old timers still do.Speaking from my era only a sign of the times.

Easy choice. The RoadKing. Best looking tourer made 'cause it ain't got a fairing, and you can pull the windsheild for instant cruiser. Rubber mounted, so it still feels like a Harley. No superfluous stuff you don't need like a stereo or tourpak. If you can't fit it all in the King's bags, you don't NEED it! And, my pipes are my music. Yup--The King is the King.
Gotta agree, too, with the poster who said '99 FXSTC. Evo Softail Custom would be my second choice, after my beloved King.

It's gotta be the Road Glide. It has every feature on a bike that you need. Full fairing, stereo, cruise control, ABS brakes. Big dual hard bags, running boards, passenger seat with backrest and passenger running boards. Huge gas tank, air shocks, comfortable ride, means you can sit on it all day and not get tired.
The best thing about the road glide is that it's the best looking harley in the line up. It's everyone's favorite, the only folks that don't like them are folks that bought something else and are jealous.

Too many variables for an easy answer...I would say, however, the 1936 knucklehead for obvious reasons.
