Well looks like harley has put a stop to US dealers selling to Canadians.. our dollar is basically worth the same and we continue to pay higher prices for which no one seems to have a good reason. Can anyone recommend a service which gives me a US shipping address and will forward mail to my Cdn address. I've googled a few but would like to know people's experiences and the cost associated.

 

Your best bet is if you know some one in the USA and send it to them and have them send it to you.I did it for " frankharley07 " before xmas just to be a nice guy (don't know him) and he sent me a harley shirt for doing it wasn't part of the deal he sent it any way (nice guy) .What are you planing to buy I might help you out or someone else on here will.

 

Where abouts are you in Canada? I'm in southern Ontario and there are several places around here to get a US address. I use them all the time and have had np's

 

I'm in St. John's NL. I don't know anyone in the states. I plan on ordering a bunch of stuff for my bike. Rocker box, gas caps etc. I usually use house of Harley but they won't ship to me anymore because of what they say strict rules from Harley that could jeopardize there dealership.

 

There are UPS Stores all over the US that would provide that service I believe but wouldn't you have to pay customs tax or the like, along with double shipping charges, negating the savings?

 

Don't they have HD dealers in Canada where you can buy stuff?

 

This is a new businessman/woman venture to a young risktaker. Risks are high but you have the whole Canadian market to aid. Think about it you have a demanding market!

 

harley prices here in canada are 30-50 percent higher, i have an office in ny and ship it there all the time than hand carry it back, is there a border crossing near you?

 

I have my parcels shipped to a parcel depot in a neighboring border town and drive down and pick them up. . Be careful of UPS as they generally add on extra fees such as brokerage fees.
