Gonna have to go back a long long long time. Showa has been the suspension supplier since the 70's. Keihin carbs have been on since about that same time. That is just off the top of my head.

Yup. My older 70s bikes have factory jap parts.

I would say the ones with the brass carburetor were probably the last all American made bikes.

I thought maybe 1950s, Forget the tire thing, I mean the basics that make the bike.
Frame, Motor, Sheet metal, Suspension and Brakes. A running, rolling Harley.
When did they start using Japanese or German or whatever parts to make a Harley. I thought it would be after WW2. Does any one really Know? Thanks.
