A co worker of mine has a fox creek leather jacket and it is some fine craftsmanship. We don't get to wear it much here in Florida, but I wish we had more of a cooler season so I could wear one. Just can't substantiate the expense to wear only a maybe a dozen times through out the year.

I'm sure Fox Creek as well as Lil' Joe's make a quality product, but it seems like every couple weeks there are new posts about one or the other and not much good about so many other companies out there. I'm starting to suspect that FC and LJ owners are lurking on this website. Just buy more ads here!

Fox Creek is great!

I got my leather overpants that fit so well I wear them as pants when I ride rain or shine.

I'm ready to order my Grayson jacket for this year as a present to myself.

Good choice!

I wear all of the above when the weather warrants it.
No fingerless gloves but the chaps are awesome. As I get older it's harder and harder to put on my overpants. Lean against the pole, bend over, lift a leg and get it through the pants, repeat, snap, zip up. The chaps are so quick and easy to put on I know I'll ride more often in the cold.

And BTW, if anyone wants to take a chance on my old Schott Classic Racer, it's a $630 jacket I'll let it go for $100. Should be a good fit for a size 46. The leather is fantastic, smooth and very thick. Silk liner but nothing to zip in or out for extra warmth. But this jacket has been through hell and back, and it's worn and faded to prove it. Great look, but you gotta be expecting it, ya know.

I'm surprised you didn't get a custom Vanson after having the Schott. I figured once you go "custom" you don't go back.

I've been considering he Greyson for a couple of years now. I have plenty of jackets, but I would like a really nice one. Posts like these help me make up my mind. Thanks for the thorough review.

I have the FC classic, best there is, the zipper on the liner broke, call them, and sent it back
7 days later it was back, also redyed the jacket, can't beat service like that, good American company that knows the value of customer service, they get all my leather business.

Hey now, I'm the first one to say that Fox Creek chaps are not quite up to par with Kelly's Leathers. And if your from Chicago, you'll know just what I'm talking about.

Called Fox Creek about a broken zipper pull on my 2 year old jacket and was told as soon as weather breaks so i don't need it, send it in for a fix, no charge other than shipping it to them. Now that's customer service that keeps me buying from them.

I bought the Classic 1 and way more than pleased. We actually drove up and ended up buying 3 jackets and 2 pairs of lined deerskin gloves. FC is a fantastic place to do business. Real humans answer the phone too.
