Default Drag Specialties Risers OEM Top Plate

I recently installed 3" Drag Specialties Risers on my '06 SB and used the OEM top plate. I re-installed the 1" bar and tightened down the plate evenly. There is a 1/8" gap between the top plate and the risers. The bars feel stable and are evenly centered.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I am considering purchasing a new plate but I'm torn because it appears secure and handles well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a small gap between the clamp and risers. If they are tight together, chances are the bars will not be clamped tight enough.

Thanks for the quick response. I suppose I should have made a 'before' assessment. Now I can set my mind at ease.

As long as the bolts are tight and the bars are secure that's all that matters.
