Why is everything chrome?
I get that a lot of people like chrome. Personally, I don't like chrome. But it seems nearly every aftermarket part is chrome. How about some other colors? I would think with the "individuality" that HD and the followers subscribe to, there'd be a rainbow of colors.
Just ranting as I look for sandpaper and my paints.
BTW, the above is not my bike. I'm sure the owner is very proud, and should be, of his nearly all chrome bike.

you know,, I was kinda wondering why there isnt more of that gold cloroed lookin chrome,, ever seen it

Im taking my WG to the Darkside by next spring, replacing all the crome with black parts. OuterPrimary, Horn cover, battery box and cover, both sides with everything black.

i like some chrome but not overdone. I am happy with the balance i have now

Chrome without some Black just doesn't seam balanced - saw a thread somewhere that most of the worlds Chrome supply (raw materials) is from countries that hate us

I have chrome forward controls and bitch pegs and a tach cover and that's WAY too much.
