My bike only has 14k miles on it and is in great shape, but it feels good to know everything major is covered till it's 12 years old. For me it's better since I can pay 100 bucks a month for 18 months easier than having a big chunk of change handy if something big happens. Also I can cancel at any time and get prorated amount back, or if I sell the bike the warranty is transferable.
I've gotten extended warranties on three Ultras now and used it on the first two. The thing was, I had to pay up front for the warranty, NO financing of it, other than a credit card.

YES! You can purchase it any time BEFORE your factory warranty expires.
Also be aware that you do NOT have to purchase from the same dealer that you bought your bike from. Any HD Dealer will sell you this extended warranty. Just be SURE that you are buying the MoCo blessed coverage from CNA and not some other fly by night operation that your dealer has signed up with in order to MAKE MORE MONEY. There are competing companies out there and the dealer may or may not be marketing the CNA package.

Give Kutter HD in Janesville WI a call. they have the best price I have found so far

If you put a lot of miles on your bike, get it. If you like to polish it in the garage, don't. I have 135,000 miles on my bike with two years of extended warranty left. RPM One warranty, sold to me through local Harley dealer. I paid $1166 for 4 extra years, no deductible.

So far I have cashed in for roughly $4,000 worth of warranty repairs. I will have over 200,000 miles at the end of the warranty period. I am betting I will be using the warranty a couple more times before then.....

I think you should go ahead and buy it and with the money you have left over you could buy some 40 dollar t shirts with your dealers name on them!!!!!!!!

If you plan on keeping the bike basically stock, I think it's worth it. I have one on mine that includes tire and wheel with roadside assistance and towing. With the limitations that HOG and AAA have on towing (distance or only once a year) I felt it was great peace of mind. I don't care if I never use it.

One other thing. Any modifications made have to be proven to be the cause of any malfunction for them to deny warranty work. Changing handle bars won't void an engine warranty, or any other component other than the original bars.

Is this the CNA plan? Best I have found so far for the CNA plan (MoCo blessed) is $1688 from Kutter HD in Wisconsin. When did you buy? Have a contact name at Legacy?

I purchased it when I bought my 2008 Sportster.
I was nice having that piece of mind for 3 years.

Decided not to buy it with my new SG.
Thinking about it purchasing it before my warranty run out.

i never use any of those extended plans. You are just a paying them up front if you break down, if not they win .Keep the moeny for yourself and take the gamble. That is what they are doing (gambling) and they must be winning cause they would not be in business if they were not. The odds are in your favor.
