Because DOT half helmets suck and here in Calif you have to wear one. I have never had a cop check to see if mine was DOT.

Totally disagree on the Butty Buddy. Yes the name is terrible but my wife will now ride over 400 miles a day on the back of my wide glide without a complaint. And for what its worth, she needs the extra padding of the butty buddy because she does not have an over abundance of it herself.

S&S 106"C.I., Heads by Bishop's Perf., Custom
Andrews Cams, 11.0:1 Comp, SE Injectors, 58mm TB
PC-V, Rinehart 2-2, Pro-R Hypercharger

Oh yeah, and air shocks really **** me off!

Seriously, though, I find it hard to believe no one has mentioned this little gem:

Man, we were just talking about that kickstand at the dealer today. Ran into an old shipmate, he mentioned a mutual friend that had that kickstand

My personal favorite is the 30k look at me I can't ride for more than 15 miles custom hard tail choppers that are running around, o yeah and revtech motors.

Well I guess..... if you've only got a $40 head then I guess a $40 helmet makes more sense 8-|
