Default Missouri Inspectors...

I just moved to the greater Springfield\Branson area and am needing to get the bike inspected so I can get me plates... Ive stripped off a few parts that they will prolly squawk at during inspection.... Does anyone have any reccomendations as to inspectors that maybe a little more leniant than others? Its got to be like old cars... just keep going till you find the inspector that will pass you haha.... Feel free to PM me if you wish... thanks!

Our whole inspection thing is a pain in the *** and a rip off for everyone except the auto repair shops. This law was passed as a result of these auto shops and part stores lobbying the legislature. Pure pork politics.

No advice as to who to go to down there but just keeping getting it inspected and pay the fee until you find someone in a hurry.

What parts did you strip off? MO inspection laws aren't real strict IMHO.

The horn is an easy fix... just stick a bulb horn on the bars temporarily. The turns signals might be a tough one. Can you rig up some temporary signals? PM sent on where you might go.

Thanks Looking forward to the PM.... yeah Ill prolly dig the horn out of the the parts bin IF I can find it.... Im nto sure about the front turn signals... the ones I had were built into the mirrors... Ive taken those off (the mirrors and turnsignals) and replaced them with one underslung small mirror..... why cant they just approve hand signals haha

Got to echo the fact that I am really glad that Oklahoma has no inspections.
