If a "motorcycle" mindset has been the driving force behind you life, then you have to deal with the consequences of your own self imposed limitations.. You have made it your identity, it's your life and I'm good with that. I get that. I can respect that. What I don't respect is when "bikers" judge, and offer phony standards that "bikers" seem to set for others.
As I do not fully understand your motives, you do not understand mine. My life does not revolve around, nor do I covet a cold ( but good lookin') chunk of steel that sits in the garage. It's my toy, not my "God"...
I'm not quite sure what the "experience" that you think I should be experiencing, but I think I'm just damn happy to be able to enjoy the sunshine, the wind in my face and the sound of my bike every night. That kinda was what I was looking for.
And good for those who want to do the same thing.

I've very much enjoyed my life done & seen things most never will but that time has come & gone too bad for most it was something that will never be again , just that right confluence of thing and point in history .

About as well or better than I've heard that sentiment expressed before. The "something that will never be again" depresses me when I think about it, but at least I have the memories of many things most folks wouldn't experience if they lived twice as long as me. But they probably wouldn't want to do a lot of what we've done, either.
