It's not like he's asking to ride the wife. He's your brother, do it and not worry about what us asshats think. Just be glad you have him near you to ride ride with. Maybe you will get lucky and he will buy his own bike and you two can ride together apart.

Does he know how to ride? Not asking if he's got a motorcycle license. Let him ride it himself for a few miles. If not, take him and let him enjoy it. It won't be the same as him riding the bike himself anyway though.

It is sad, in High School in the 70's we would do trips two up all the time, cheap way to get to the beach. Back then it entered no ones mind that two guys on a bike might be gay.
