OK, I'm looking to install on my bike a pair of saddlebags big enough so I can store my FF helmet inside, as opposed to leaving it locked on the bike somewhere.
This is to prevent getting it wet if it rains, preventing the visor to be stolen, preventing a damage due to an attempted theft etc. I just want to keep it inside a saddlebag and out of sight.
The saddlebags have to be about at least 10"-11" wide and lockable. I'd attached them to the bike with easybrackets that I already have.

So far I've found only these bags that meet the requirement : Hepco&Becker Buffalo Big, of which I attach a pic (it's the bag on the right).

Are there any other saddlebags available as far as you know, lockable and big enough for a FF helmet?

I have only ever seen hard bags that will fit a full face helmet. A modular helmet may fit in a smaller bag with the face shield unlocked.

 

Sumax has hardbags 2.5" wider than stock but that still isn't big enough for my alien size helmet!

Gonna be hard to find a saddlebag big enough to fit a FF and if you did they might look pretty bodacious on the bike. Why not go with a tourpak or biker's friend?

 

+1. Going to have agree that the tourpak is the way to go. Those saddlebags would look really funny.

 

You need a tour pack, trunk or large sissy bar bag.

do these saddlebags make my *** look fat?

i've never seen a saddlebag big enough to fit a ff helmet. and if it did, it would look awful funny compared to the rest of the bike. unless you were riding a boss hoss maybe?

Dang, I can't remember the last time I saw a picture of a motorcycle that was SO stupid looking that I actually said "wow!"... out loud. Ha.
