I did think about a Tourpack, but I wanted to keep the Dyna look as much as possible and without transforming it into a Touring...
I love all the Tourings, but I'd rather have an original Touring rather than a Dyna looking like full bagger for everyday use. I'd like a tourpack for a weekend trip but not for going around town.
The only bags I've found, mounted on a Fatbob are in this pic below. what do you reckon? too fat ***?
can't believe nobody ever designed a bag for harleys capable of storing a FF helmet before..

I really think Ur over thinking this.

I've had 8tourning bikes and the only way I stored a 3/4 face helmet was in the touring box...

If U hang Ur helmet correctly U won't get it wet. Or why not just take it inside if its that much of an issue to U.

Wow that is really all I can say. I would get a half helmet and be done. But then again I put my helmet on my seat and don't worry. Never had a problem so far

From the looks of your bike, I would mount a helmet lock on your road bars and hang the helmet off the foot peg.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I guess my helmet will have to be hanged on the bike if i don't want my dyna to be superwide rather than superglide.
Another way of doing it would be a normal saddle bag with an expandable bag, that when not riding you can expand and lock a helmet inside it..
A friend of mine has this "Vario" bag on his bmw GS, where the small rigid bag can expand and can fit his FF helmet. Just don't want my Harley to be any less than his metric and I have to admit that his type of bag is a very clever solution! I guess this could be a nice application also in the market of leather bags..
