Ok, my winter mods will begin soon. Couple questions.... Thinking of changing my cables and front brake line, something like Black Pearl from Magnum, but not sure if I want Magnums. Any tips on good cables, and price range would be appreciated (my bars are 10" Santees).
Also, just got my new rocker covers (just top covers), when I replace the top covers, will I have to replace the bottom rocker cover gaskets also? How much will a gasket set run me about?

I've had (chromite) Magnum cables for 4 years now and love em. Still look brand new...
If you're just replacing the top covers, it's an easy swap. The gaskets were pretty cheap, for a Harley part. Last year mine were starting to seep so I bought/replaced just the top cover gasket.

 

The top rocker cover (6 bolts) and the gasket (about $6) can be replaced without messing with the lower cover. Be sure to clean off all the old silicon sealant residue when you pull off the old gasket, and torque the cover bolts in the proper sequence to prevent warping the new covers.
