I've had a pair of chaps for several years. They have been fine, but I don't wear them all the time. I think I paid $40 for them.

Bought the $99 chaps couple years ago from hot leathers main st in daytona. Used a lot the leather is still soft only problem was 2 bad snaps.
Well worth the money.
The wife bought $49 or $59 set they are shitty cheap looking, I leather is stiff and zippers stick. Not worth the money. Hope this helps

Well they called me around lunch today and told me they had got the XL jacket in from there othere store. Cruised over there and decided to buy it. Also found a pair of the heavy weight chaps that fit. I told the manager I could buy them cheaper online but would rather pad his pocket so he knocked 15% off. Got jacket and chaps for $285 OTD. Not bad.

Why dont you hear more about Hot Leathers? Seems if its not Langlitz, Fox Creek, Vanson or Schotz or a FXRG at the lowest level then its sub par.
I can wait to get home from work next week and try my new stuff out.

I bought a pair of their lined chaps about 3 years ago at a swap meet. I tried just about every vendor that had women's chaps, and couldn't find any that were the right size (medium was way to big, small was too small (or too large, depending on the manufacturer). Hot Leathers had many more sizes than jst S, M, L, XL so I was able to find some that fit perfectly.
I wear them a lot, and they have held up well. If I ever need to replace them, I will certainly try out Hot Leather first.

Hot Leather, UNIK and the other Paki/low cost lines of leather are ok stuff. They do what they are supposed to do and don't break theh bank doing it. You don't get the "bragging rights" of a top line jacket, but you are paying nowhere near the amount either. I have owned some Hot Leather stuff, also have a UNIK jacket that is 15 years old and still rocking strong. Best to buy this at a vendor or a store, 'cause sizing can be iffy, as noted here.

My Hot Leathers Chaps were $100 for Large ...
thought they were way too long, but when I sit in the saddle (seat) they cover my boot laces and keep the freezing air out of my feet.
they work good - no issues - they just touch the ground if walk around with them on - great zips, good snaps (extras were included in the pocket, built in belt ...
Mine say "Pakistan" on the stitched tag
