Ingenious ways to lash a bag without bungee
I know most of us probably use a bungee cord to lash a bag to the rack or seat.
But, I was interested in seeing other ways members came up with to lash a bag other than using a bungee.
Please post a picture of you have a non-bungee tie-down.
Thanks!

Looking for something re-useable, not needing replenished.
I have used duct tape for many things, lashing my bag has not been one of them. But, I do carry a small roll for McGyver repairs and whatever.
Also works great for sealing hotel door in the event of a fire (to prevent smoke intrusion). Been there done that one! Don't need to repeat.

I usually just hold the bag up and vigorously rub it on my head. Static cling rocks! Just watch out for the spark

I only use bungies to hold a light item (like a jacket). For packs or Dry Bag luggage I found D-ring straps to be the most secure and convenient. Always run them parallel never criss-cross for the most secure hold. I don't have any good pictures showing them on my EG Standard or Dyna but this pic somewhat shows them on my old BMW. I think I bought this set from Helen Two Wheels.
