Default Went down last night

Finally happened to me. Luckily I was not going to fast. It had just got dark. Going down a county road and came up on a sharp right turn so I had already slowed down quite a bit, but just as I was starting to take the turn a deer was right in my path. I tried to swing wide and did not make the turn. Went down on my left side into a ditch right on top of a cement culvert. A few scratches, but worst was a swollen bruised left ankle. Bike faired pretty well also. Mirror bent beyond repair, rear turn signal broke off and handle bars were bent down. It was only about a 5 foot deep ditch, but pretty steep. Bike was laying at an angle so I could not pick it up. First two cars drove right past me, third one stopped. Young guy jumped out and helped me stand it up and push it up out of the ditch. Rode it home and assesed the damage this morning. Could have been much worse for me or the bike. Pretty sore all day, but thankful thats all.

+1 And 2 weeks ago I was going home, pitch dark road few blocks from home- it had drizzled rain just enough and stopped, left turn (slow but not slow enough.) and I saw my bike leave. I'm ok except for sore chest and a lost toenail (something hit it pretty good) bike lost taillight and bent engine guard. Pretty lucky I think.
---Oh and I think small dent in pride.---

Sounds like God was riding with you, bro. You better let him ride with me before you kill him. You know what they say. If ya ain't went down ya ain't been riding long enough. Let this be the last time. Just be more careful from now on. OK?
