Several years ago, the club I rode with always went to Del Rio St. Patricks Day Rally. We planned to go this particular year as well. Early in the week was fine, as weekend approached temp. slammed downward. Friday morning low 20's and sleeting. 185 miles one way. No one was gonna be the first to back out, so no one did and off we went. We finally made it and checked in to rally. It was held in an old bull fighting arena, dirt blowing around, cold and all. That was the best rally I have ever been to !!! We had the time of our lives. Would I do it again?? I said it was the best time of our lives, but I ain't gonna go thru it again....

about 25 degrees pulling outta NYC heading down to Bikeweek earlier this yr. Of course we were ill-prepared. Did about an hr, then stopped and threw the Dyna into the trailer once I found my fingers.
My Bro did it on his goldwing tho - damn windshield/hwy pegs/CC made ALL the difference.
It didn't warm up until we were halfway thru NC.

Low 20s in early AM this weekend and yesterday and today. Rode between 8 and 15 miles one way.
Coldest ride was in rain then snow in June 1998 on I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie, the temp at the summit was about 10F.

30 miles in the low 20's on a daily basis going to work at 0530. Normally wait till it warms up a bit on the weekends to go for the longer rides. Since were talking about the cold, are there any recommendations for a GOOD set of winter gloves or should I just go heated?

What was the lowest temperature you have ridden in? (And not around the block...)
So far, mine is 26 degrees riding to work...about 45 minutes. How about you all???
