Creating a custom route on a Zumo GPS 660
Just got a Zumo 660 for the RG and took it on it's first ride and was pretty impressed. Recalculates the route really fast, has pretty cool info screens and seems to be very accurate.
Now for the question. I'm planning a trip to ride around AZ and NM and would like to save a custom route. Has anyone plotted, saved and uploaded a route from googlemaps to their Garmin? Is this even possible or do I have to re-enter the route manually into the Garmin?
Thanks for the input.

Install the garmin communicator for google app on your computer and then you will get the an option to save/send your map locations to your gps.

There should've been a CD with the Garmin program included when you bought your 660. That seems to be the most reliable downloadable planner.
I've found that the HD program does not work so well, something to do with recalculation settings on the GPS (which you may want to leave enabled).

I completely forgot about the CD! Thanks for the reminder.
