Yes he did.
I used to work for the State of SD and can tell you Janklow was a DICK. Good riddance.

Blackfly, yes he did, but I think it was for a very short time and then a judge released him. He also lost his law license, but he cryed to the judge that he needed it to make a living so again the judge reinstated it. So for all intents and purposes he got clean away with murder.
At the time some riders were talking about boycotting Sturgis because of the way they handled this %$#@.
He did brag about how he always drove at high speeds and running stop signs. He was quite proud of that.
Wherever he ends up I hope he's the ground in a burnout pit.

I followed this case closely back in the day. Even wrote a few letters. I'd only be slightly more sympathetic to this *******, if he hadn't been such an arrogant ***** about it, as well as his history of aggressive driving and traffic violations.
And I'm not talking about parking tickets, nor a mistake once or twice, this guy had record a mile long. Including five more citations AFTER his driving privileges were reinstated in 2007!! (He killed Randy Scott in 2003).

We all know the system takes care of it's own , and they wonder why the general public has growing dislike of the government & law enforcement agencies .
