Hey MX Mark, glad you had a great time. I love AZ and try and plan a trip out west once a year. I've done a lot of riding north of Phoenix (the usual great roads) but have not headed south, but that's the plan this year.

Not trying to jack the thread, but since you're planning to go back to AZ next year this may be of interest. I put together this route on google maps to ride south AZ and NM and would welcome feedback from 71FLH and anyone else familiar with the area.
