I am a diesel mechanic, so the inside of my helmet is less than fresh. If anyone needs a helmet that bad, they are welcome to it.

I have a locking caribeaner that I saw advertised in a motorcycle magazine. It works very well to latch the helmet onto the mirror stem or other area on the bike.

I either put it in the TP, or if I'm riding without the TP, I'll lock it to the bike with a cable lock made for guns. It came free with my S&W .357

6 years ago I paid $39dollars for a half helmet. I'm kinda hoping someone will steal it so I can get a new one.

I put it in the Tour-pak...I'm more concerned with losing the headset than the helmet.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I leave mine on the bike most of the time too. These are typically quick in/out stops, etc. Never had a problem yet either.

If I remembered the story..I would go find the SOB that took my helmet and get it back.
