I wish Harley's were fast. I like cruising, but it would be fun to go like a bat out of hell without spending another 2 grand on upgrades. Come on MoCo, give us a water cooled 90HP out of the box bagger.

And if that is important to YOU.....a Wing will probably leave you a bit empty after it's all said and done.

But I'll give credit to the Wing - it's a much faster and better handling bike than it's size would leave you to believe. And on paper, it's a LOT more bike than the Ultra for the money. But the bottom line is that the Wing's not a Harley and even if it were, I'm betting that HD would still sell more Ultras.

My old man has a 05 1800 Gold Wing, it weighs 850 lbs, only 100 lbs more then my 07 Heritage, and there is no way I can keep up with him when he hits it.

At this point in my life, I'm just into the scenery, the experience, and telling the story about it later. The Wing is definately a great bike, but it didn't give me the feeling that my Harley did when I test-rode them. I have no problem with somebody choosing the Wing over the HD if it fits the bill for them...but it just doesn't for me.
