Disappointed

I have bought several tires from Dennis Kirk and the experiences and price were always good. The tires were always, as I recall, no more than three months old.
Tires should be good for five years at least. Most Harley riders seem to use up the thread on the rear within two years.

I guess you could call me cheap. I almost bought the tire from AMT, but after reading all of the posts here concerning JW, I thought I would give them a try. It came back and bit me in the ***.

And who is to say that the tire you would have received from anywhere else was not old stock?
I have purchased 7 or 8 tires from Jake Wilson over the last 4 years and none that I have received were older than 6 months!

Got all 4 for mine from DK in the last 5yrs, and ready to order 2 more.. I don't even look any more for a better price, which in the past He always won out anyway.

When I bought my Sporty the tires looked unused, asked the previous owner about them, said he'd bought them a little over a year previously, but had had an injury that kept him from ever riding on them. Forgot to check the dates... After just a couple months, noticed the sidewalls were cracking, checked the dates - 9 years old.
