parts are not available. one of the vent slide came off. I can not get a replacement part. other than tis, i am completely satisfied. as far as size goes, mine is a large and it fits like an XL of the other H-D helments.

Default FXRG helmet replacement parts

Find an HJC helmet dealer in your area or go online. Harley won't help.

For the base plate (gear plate for the helmet to snap into) Order the gear replacement for the HJC AC-11 (that is the equivalent of the Harley FXRG helmet that HJC makes for Harley, only in their name)

$8-$12 per pair. My local helmet dealer order it and I got it in 5-days. My Harley dealer said you need to buy a new helmet.

It fit mine perfectly and my face shield works perfect.

Default FXRG Full-face

I have it.

I was used to Schubert.
I bought this one quickly because I needed one for the MSF Classes when I had to pass the license here.
Look is great, especially with the sun shield done.
For a full face, and without fancy paintings, it is a bad *** helmet.
I have the dark gray model (or black I don't remember how they describe it, but I will say black color).

Modularity is OK.
One hand opening is good, but one hand closing is not so sure.
Sun shield gets in the way of the glasses. Need to take the glasses off before fitting.

The main complaint I have is that this is a very noisy helmet (again Schubert is the major manufacturer for this kind of helmet, so it's unfair to compare made-in-China HD with them).

The vents are quite significant; hence the noise.

I wore it only during this winter (cold days) so I cannot comment on its capability to support the heat.

I have a couple helmets, half and full, for different riding conditions one of which is the FXRG modular. As has been said it is a bit expensive but the features are well worth it in my opinion. A deal can be found online, check out surdyke.com for one.
