I have the Shoei X-11. Great helmet, light and lots of airflow.

I have the FXRG and love it. I previously had an Arai Vector that someone liberated off of my bike. The FXRG is cooler, lighter, and has better airflow than the Arai.

Fxrg hear also. Great helmet I find it has good ventilation. The light weight is what got me looking at it. I also like the finish. Have always worn full face helmets and find it one of the best.

+1 fxrg carbon/kevlar. The only complaint I had were the cheek pads. Took them out and all is good.

For those that are or were interested in the FXRG but balked at the price, Competition Accessories has a clearance sale right now on the Joe Rocket 101 carbon fiber helmets. They are made by HJC, the same way the FXRG are, but are available in different colors, and are $274.99 which is a lot better than the $475 for the FXRG.

The basic grey one is here:

I ordered one of these and it just arrived today. So far it seems rather nice, and well vented. The top liner is very open so I can actually see straight through the vent holes in the front and the rear through the bottom of the helmet. The front vent opens wide rather than some sliding ratchet vent the other HJC's have. I've not gotten to ride with it yet, but in just trying it on tonight it seems pretty slick, and the price is excellent considering the cost of other carbon fiber helmets.

The only two minuses for this are that the cheek pads are a little snug (which I can easily live with since they are not "tight"), and the face shield only has 4 stopping points rather than a number of them like most other helmets. There is basically wide open, half open, open a crack, and closed.

Oh, and for anyone that uses such things, the helmet bag this helmet comes with is unbelievable. Rather than the drawstring bag most have, this thing comes in basically a soft lined bowling ball bag with pockets.

I wear a full face modular helmet. A G-Max. I got it for $100. I love it. I usually ride with the face shield up and the chin bar down. I get the wind in the face feeling but can flip it down when ever I want. From what I have read about 50% of all accidents result in a face plant and only a full face or modular will protect you then. I would like to keep the few teeth I have left. I used to use a 3/4 and before that just a 1/2 but I like to think I am getting wiser even if I am getting older and slower. I am unfamiliar with the HD helmet but as others have suggested go to a HD dealer and try it on. See how it feels. The better it fits the more likely you are to wear it. Just don't be a slave to fashion and insist that it be an HD brand. Find the best fit you can and go with that no matter who makes it.

Default True to size?

Does the FXRG helmet is true to size? I mean, the XL 61/62 is really on par with XL's from others brands or they run on the small size?
