I have the super reduced reach seat and I do like it a lot. It is comfortable to me. With that said, I have purchased a Mustang solo seat and had Bitchn Stitchn modify it to resemble the super reduced reach seat. I will use this seat for very long rides. I ride with the HD seat more at this time.

I had the Reach seat awhile ago and didn't like it but I'm a guy. I've since learned there's relatively easy ways to make up height problems including riding with boots that have large heels, Point your toes towards 10 am and 2pm and not straight forward when stopped makes a big difference. You can also put your left foot flat and the right foot up slightly. I'm 5'7 and can now ride even with tennis shoes without problems. It pretty much takes some practice.

the bike i'm looking into is a wide glide and the forward controls might (at 5'5") give me some trouble. but i just figured for every problem there is a solution. carlini super sweeps might help with the handlebar reach problem...

I use the H-D reduced reach as I'm vertically challenged. It sinks me down enough to give the low rider feel and also offers additional back support. Throw on one of Captain Itch's crotch coolers and the setup looks pretty sharp.

I tried the reach seat, the mid version, and it just wasn't comfortable for me. I also put on the Mustang LowDown, and while it did the job of helping my vertically challenged legs reach the ground, the seat padding was too thin and after an hour in the saddle, I needed to get off a while. Have a Mustang Wide touring now, and while it's just a bit taller, it's still low enough to flatfoot and I can put many hours in it and not be sore.
Bike is lowered front with progressive 940s on the rear.

The barebones is probably the lowest seat, but comes at a price. No cushioning so long rides can be tough, even with gel.
Would really consider mid controls over forwards at your height. Can always add highway pegs if you feel the need to stretch.
