RE: Wife and I finished the MSF course yesterday
Congrats, thats something I'm looking to schedule in the spring when they start it back up here. I would love the wife to take the course now that she likes riding on the back of mine. Couldn't imagine both scoring the top grades though. Nice job.

My wife has no desire to ride except on back but I'm puttin' her in a course to be a better passenger.

She passes the course and I'll lay odds your in the market for another bike inside of a month.
That's not a criticism, its more like a twisted view of human nature.
But look at the bright side, you won't have to look too far for a riding partner.

Thats exactly what happened with my wife, she wanted to take it to be a better passenger. That ended after her first hour of riding.

Last year I took the course with my wife too. She beat me in the riding test
I was first to go out of the group and I was taking all the stations pretty fast [8D]
I bought her rebel and she has already out-grown it.
But, she sure is happy she had that to learn on.
She's been eyeballing a Dyna Low Rider.

LOL you goofball
Ya I was thinking of getting her a rebel or a virago or something like what they rode in the class as well. Was the rebel ok on the freeway? The reason I ask is where we live we have to get on the freeway about 4 miles or so til we can get off the freeway and take nice hilly roads and surface streets to most of the fun local places. (local places meaning like 15 to 20 mile roads to get there)

Congrats. Now, give her your girlie bike and buy a real mans bike: Sportster

Better start saving, she'll be bugging you for a big twin before too long.
