When I last visited US129, a tractor trailer was trying to negotiate the curves...not a good thing...managed to safely pass...my 1st thought was why do they allow tractor trailers on this road.

I was lucky the times we've been there not to have encountered trucks but was on the lookout none the less. Raise the speed limit? That MUST be a joke. I belive most truck drivers who have been on that route might be relived not to have to have the stress. Only thing is now it takes a little longer to reach the destination with other routes. Either way its a win win.

About time. It was insane to allow 53' trailers on those roads in the first place. Some of those curves took both lanes and both shoulders for a truck to make.

Never been to the Dragon, but as a flat-lander, those curves look like more than enough to handle without some 18-wheeled moving targets thrown in the mix.

Pefect!I ride it south to north so all I have to worry about is passing those things, not so much getting clothes-lined by one.

They are a hazard on that road for anyone who travels it, car, bike, bicycle, etc
