ordered the small screamin eagle patch off of ebay for what I thought was a good price, and the damn thing was fake. imagine that...grrrrr
seller agreed to take it back....I reported it to ebay as well so it doesn't happen to someone else.
looked fine in the picture, but it's slightly smaller and the colors are off. good ol chinese rip off crap I'm sure

I was in a local biker store the other day just browsing and really didn't see anything that I wanted. I found a Vietnam shoulder patch, didn't really want it but it will incorporate with another patch I'm going to have sewn on. Anyway I looked at the label and it said "Made in China." I might be wrong but I always thought China and Russia were backing the NVA.
I guess the almighty dollar is mightier than old wounds for the US.

 

Always a risk when you buy online. At least the seller is taking it back. Most would say that you saw the picture, it is your problem.

 

Damn, now we have to deal with the chinese ripping off the chinese!

Actually it was probably a case of Americans ripping off the Chinese - many of those copies are made by patch shops that also sell on ebay. I had a DYNA patch I bought at the shop - made in China, I saw some that looked the same on ebay and asked if they would do one that said "Super Fat Glide Custom" and within the hour they had created an auction for just that - I ordered 4 of them and they went out the next day and they even included an extra one, when I put the new one next to the Dyna patch.........yep, slightly smaller.

 

Uh oh will you still be able to hang out with the cool kids without a patch?

 

If Harley didn't want 10 times the price for their **** then what it was worth this wouldn't be happening.
