Ideally it should be placed in the "touring" "general BS" and "general topic" sections. Interesting that not to many folks disagree that there is a lot of crap (useless posts) in the touring section. Maybe I should start a poll on where this thread belongs

in many parts of the world.... this is the time of year, to store one's bike, pour a drink, and waste time on the computer. You'll find there is a LOT of BS postings.... but then agin, there is a lot of BS posting year-round.

The trick is, whether on this, (or any other) forum... FILTER through the stuff you want to read, and the stuff you don't.

Yes many posts in the model family sections, can be "general"..... but when a reader is concerned with their bike, information from the different families may NOT apply to the OP's bike.

There are many other forums.... each has it's traits... none of them are as "active" as this one. That is a blessing... and for some a "curse"
