I pLaced an order for a nice leather vest, last I heard the vests were planned to be ready for delivery around the 19th but still nothing, not even a tracking number.

Of course my credit card has been charged but no vest yet. Customer service leaves something to be desired.

Personally, I'd just relax and wait a few weeks - I'm guessing it's jacket weather on Florida now anyhow. Mail order works best when you don't get too uptight about it. I imagine they are so backed up with orders from Sons of Anarchy fans getting vests for christmas that they don't have time to send an email.

 

If they charged the card - should be shipping soon. Normally (most) vendors don't charge until package is heading your direction.

 

These sometimes take a few weeks. You should have ordered from us as we never charge your card until the vest leaves our shop.

I ordered my Lil Joe's through Drew's shop and like Drew said, no charge until they shipped it.

 

The SOA vests are taking longer than any of the others. I think the last vest for a good friend of mien took about a month. I guess they can't keep them in stock for shipping as I know I cannot either.

You're so right. I should have ordered from you. Next time I'll know better. I sent them an email last night, and got a quick response eluding to Xmas rush, etc. and it "should ship today or tomorrow".

 

I don't consider it uptight on my part. I consider it poor service on theirs. I already got charged, and paid the bill on my credit card (as I don't every carry a balance). Unfortunately, what it'll mean is no repeat business in the future. And hopefully, my thread will contribute at least a little bit towards ensuring someone else doesn't suffer the same issues I have in this purchase. Like Drew said, he'd have waited to charge my card until shipping.

 

They aren't the only company that charges your card immediately.
They are like the Fast Food Drive Thru. Get the money as soon as possible then worry about the your product.
