Default Probably Totalled the Sled Today

The kids needed milk today, so I thought it would be a great excuse to get on the bike and take a Christmas Eve ride. I live right off of a highway and the grocery store is on the same highway. I bought the milk, left the grocery store, and hit the highway. I noticed a SUV coming up to the intersection in front of me and KNEW that the driver didn't see me. Thank God, because if I hadn't started taking evasive action then, I might be dead. Thank God for the crash bar I installed right after I bought the bike, too, because it saved me from at least one broken leg.

In the end, I took off the SUV's front bumper and mangled its left front quarter panel. I dropped the bike after the impact and I actually flipped over and landed on my feet. I have a few bruises, but feel pretty good. Unfortunately, my bike looks to have some frame damage. She's only six months old! Oh well, I came home to my family, and that is what's important!

glad you're ok - sounds like things could've been much worse.
The bike is easier to fix or replace than you are - Merry Christmas

Glad to hear you came out ok. The bike can easily be replaced but you cannot. Good luck & ride safe on that new scoot!
