Default A Knife While Riding

Do you carry a knife in a sheath on your belt while riding? Are their laws in your state against it?

Nope don't carry a knife, I carry a 9mm in a waist band holster. I've had a CCW permit since 1971.

I carry a knife. It's a Smith & Wesson locking blade. I also carry it at work, and no one has ever said anything to me about it. I have been pulled over with it on my belt and the cops just asked to see it, and that was it.

I'm sure if you are riding around with a Machete they might say something

Glock 19 here, but I'm a big fan of the 1911!

I would carry my Browning Hi-Power 9mm, but I don't have the CCW permit.

Someday I will get off my lazy butt and get the permit.

Same problem with a NY permit, I'm going to get a PA non resident, and a FL non resident. That will take care of a lot of the states I travel in.

TO the OP:, sorry for the hijack, I do carry an old Buck 110 sometimes.

I think all the states require their own permit.

Knife laws in many places are more strict than firearm laws because they are not constitutionally protected. Check your local laws
