TO the OP:, sorry for the hijack, I do carry an old Buck 110 sometimes.
If they pass that new gun carry bill,we will be able to carry in almost every state.

Can't Carry a gun cuz the whole felony thing, but I've got a Benchmark I don't leave home without. Held by a pin on spring steel, hangs upside down with edge towards the back. Love it.

in ohio there is no blade law. you can carry a sword as long as it isn't concealed..but a small pocket knife is the same as a gun with out a ccw .. if i carry it is a med. sized, sharp as hell buck lock back with a clip so i can hook it in the corner of my pocket and it is still visible.. if i had a reason to need it, i have a 15" Pakistani Bowie knife. but i haven't worn it since the day i bought it at a flea market.. have a ccw too but rarely carry a gun.

I also live in Ohio. And I was stopped on my bike one time. I had my knife on my belt. The cop asked to see it. I showed it to him, and he liked it and asked where I got it from. He handed it back to me and gave me no traffic ticket. He let me go. Nice guy.

I do have my Buck 110 lock-back that I really like. I've had it so long I cant remember when and where I got it. I probably should strap it on the belt every day. I think in NY if the blade is <4" you're ok for concealed.

I have a large fixed blade 8" or so "tactical" knife in PA and never have been given a problem since it's openly carried. I'm pretty sure if I attempted to conceal it I'd have a problem though.
